Patricia (Trish) Melton, PhD: has worked in the Global Pharma Industry for over 30 years, working in large operating organizations and global consulting firms. She is the founder and Managing Director of MIME Solutions Ltd, a consultancy providing support to the Global Pharmaceutical Industry for 20 years in topics such as project, quality and risk management, operational excellence, and change management and also in developing organizational strategies such as corporate sustainability.
Dr Melton currently serves as the Chair of the Institution of Chemical Engineers Sustainability Hub and the Chair of the ISPE Global Documents Committee.
She recently published two papers (with co-authors) on sustainability in Pharmaceutical Engineering covering Sustainability Strategy and Sustainability by Design and will be presenting at the ISPE Annual Meeting in Las Vegas on one of these topics.
Sustainability is a global challenge and Trish is passionate about the need to respond so that all aspects of our working lives involve consideration of sustainability.
I am an experienced sustainability, facilities and workplace leader with a passion for designing, operating and maintaining world-class buildings that create a great employee experience whilst minimising the impact on the environment.
I have an MBA in Facilities Management, a BSc in Computing Science and studying for an MSc in Strategic Sustainability Management, to complement over 25 years in the Pharmaceutical industry in increasingly responsible management and leadership roles.
Self-titled as the ‘most extroverted introvert’ you will ever have the pleasure to meet and with a growing business rebellious streak, I am often found mashing together academic methods, corporate strategy and ESG with entrepreneurial innovation.
